Scripture: "And He called unto Him his disciples, and saith unto them, verily I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast in their treasury:  For all they did cast in of their abundance, but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living."  Mark 12:43-44 (KJV)

Do you ever feel as if you have nothing to give? You don't know what you could do to serve the Lord.  You look around and you see so many with wonderful talents.  They can sing and play musical instruments.  They can preach and some can heal.  You say "I have nothing to give".  My friend you do have something to give. It may be a smile or a gentle word to lift the heart of a lonely hurting stranger. A kind deed can help lift the load off of someone's shoulders. A visit and a prayer to one in the hospital can bring hope. A visit to a shut in with a loaf of homemade bread can bring joy beyond belief and fill an empty void.

God needs little things.  Mark 12:43-44 says "And He called unto Him, his disciples, and saith unto them, verily I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast in their treasury:  For all they did cast in of their abundance, but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living." You see it is in how we give.  This dear lady gave all she had to the Lord.  Look at the Scripture God uses little things.  He used a little boy name David with a sling and tiny pebbles to slay a giant.  He used a staff to separate the Red Sea and free a nation.  Five loaves and 2 small fishes, a little boys lunch fed the multitude of hungry people.  Little things my friend, not much but give them to the master and see what they can do.  Placed in His hands the little becomes much.  You see it is not our gift that matters but it's His almighty touch on us and our gifts that counts that makes the difference.

Today bring what you have to the Father, it is exactly what He needs. God bless you.

Let's pray:  Father we love you.  Sometimes we feel like we have nothing to give.  Help us to remember Lord if we just give our all, like the little widow in the Scripture, that you will take our gifts and use them in a mighty way. Use us Lord, use us no mater how humble small or great the task use us.  We are your servants Lord and we want to be used by you. Lord bless the In The Garden Family and use everyone of them today.  In Jesus name I pray. Amen
