Scripture: "Thou
wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is
stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
Isa 26:3 (KJV)
The past couple of weeks have been trying
as the Old devil has decided to strike at us
from the flank and take out our computer system
so we have had many sleepless nights and
humongous headaches and a stress level that has
gone through the roof. He knows this is the way
we remain in contact with hundreds of people who
not only take our Devotional and Prophecy
Messages (when I can get them out). He also
knows that many of those people write in for
prayer and some just for encouragement. Instead,
we have been spending our time trying to nurse
an old computer system along, losing time and
eventually most all of our data... when it
finally gave up. We were fortunate to have some
backups and our using them to install all of our
programming on the new computer we have just
purchased. However, because of the different
operating systems and a small learning curve
which I have been mastering more everyday... we
are yet "sleepless in Saint Joseph" and
now have found that the "boot sector" in our new
computer has a flaw... and needs to be repaired
today or replaced. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???
So... Why go on? Why continue? Because, believe
it or not my friend, God isn't done with this
old boy from Missouri and I know that these
hiccups are merely a way to try and take
us out! I SEE THE ENEMY in this stuff
and I know that God is BIGGER! Do we need
your prayers? Boy, do we, and I know there are
many of you praying for us and we appreciate
that.
But as I was waiting for the 7th time today for
the NEW system to reboot which seems to take up
to 45 to 50 minutes to do, That verse kept going
through my head:
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose
mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in
thee." Isa 26:3 (KJV)
What an awesome witness of the Holy Spirit
during a time when I needed Him the most. Just a
gentle whisper over and over again...
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose
mind is stayed on thee: because he
trusteth in thee." Isa 26:3 (KJV)
Isn't The Lord Amazing?
Here I was with a new computer that I couldn't
really afford yet there was no other
alternative... more weary than I think I have
ever been in my life... and instead of thoughts
of throwing in the towel or how I was going to
get any rest or even if I was going to eat, I
was blessed with a WORD from the Lord through
the presence of The Holy Ghost in my life that
brings me the witness: "Thou wilt keep him in
perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee." Isa 26:3 (KJV)
It was as though He was talking directly to God
Himself, echoing the prayers of Jesus, Our High
Priest, ever interceding on our behalf - on
MY behalf... saying, "I know you will 'keep'
him Father and give him peace during these
trials, because His mind is stayed on Thee: he
trusts in Thee.
Oh friend... That's fellowship! That's
provision! That's encouragement! That's GOD!
Got Peace?
Let's Pray.
Father, How can I murmur or complain when I know
that "ALL things" work together for good to them
that Love God and are the called according to
YOUR purpose"? I am excited about what you have
in store Father because we shall come forth
purged of the dross and impurities of this life
and have our focus where it needs to be - SOULS!
Letting the WORLD know that YOU ARE THE ANSWER
TO THEIR EVERY NEED! Thank you Father for
every trial and every sleepless minute, for I
know that through it all there will come a
fellowship between me and Thee that can not be
shaken and for that I give YOU Praise! In Jesus'
Name - I continue. Amen.
