Scripture:
"The Lord will give strength unto
His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace." Psalms 29:11
Oh, my precious friends of In The Garden, many of you have
suffered so much over this past year. Many of you have lost loved ones.
You have sit by and watch those who are so precious to you suffer as cancer and
other diseases ate away at their physical bodies. Some of you have
had your hearts broken as you have watched your parent or spouse or grandparent
suffer as Alzheimer's has taken over their brains. Several of you have held your
little child in your arms as they took their last breath. You have held
the hand of a love one killed in an auto accident and many oh so many of you
have stood by the grave of a dear friend or love one and wept with great sorrow.
Oh my precious friends so many of you have wrote about financial
problems. You or your spouse have lost your job, your home, your cars.
Yet, you have stood in faith believing that God will take of you, and He will.
Psalms 29:11 says "The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will
bless His people with peace."
Wayne's and my heart have wept with you as we have prayed for
your family members that do not know the Lord. We have lifted you up
as you have wrote and told us how your family will not speak to you or have any
thing to do with you because you claim the name of Jesus. We have pleaded
the blood of Jesus over you and your spouse when you went through a divorce.
Oh, how we have hurt when you hurt. When you are sick we lift you up in
prayer. When you are suffering we feel it. Many a nights when Wayne
has been up until the wee hours of the morning reading his e-mails he has woke
me up to pray with him for you. I have awakened many a nights to find him in
prayer for you. You have been part of our In The Garden Family, many of
you since we first obeyed God's calling and started In the Garden Devotions back
in 1996.We have grown to love each one of you. Be assured of our continued
prayers for each one of you. We know that God is going to bless you. God
is going to heal you. God is going to save your family. God is going
to give you strength and peace. This is going to be a year of victory for
you, because you have been a faithful servant and God loves you.
Psalms 46
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the
mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Though the mountains shake with
the swelling thereof, Selah
There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city
of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst
of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth
melted. The Lord of host is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
Selah.
Come behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made
in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he
breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the
fire. Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the
heathen, I will be exalted in the earth, the Lord of host is with us; the God of
Jacob is our refuge. Se'lah
God bless you, let's pray.
Father bless in a mighty way all those who come to In The Garden
this week. Bless them in every way Lord. Father put your loving arms
around them and protect them. Do not let Satan and the evil or dangers of
the world touch them. Open your windows of Heaven and pour out your blessings
upon them. Lord heal each one that is sick and heal their families.
Lord in the name of Jesus I ask that you will send someone into the paths of
their loved ones that do not know you and that they will find themselves on
their knees before you. Lord bless and continue to use In the Garden
to reach the world for you. In Jesus name I pray Amen
