Scripture Text: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Gal 5:22,23 (KJV)

Isn't it interesting that our next attribute in the list of the fruits of the Spirit is JOY? Why do I say that? Because it comes between the attribute of Love and that of Peace. Without Love there could be no Peace, and without Peace there could be no Joy - God's Spirit brings all three as a soothing balm in a tired and storm-battered soul.

Have you ever heard someone utter the phrase, "Joy unspeakable and full of Glory"? (ref., 1 Peter 1:8)

To have the Joy of the Spirit - the Joy of The Lord in your life, that's where the "against such there is no law" part comes in. When people witness the life and testimony of someone who is truly filled with the Joy of the Lord, there is nothing they can say about it. It is something everyone yearns for, and so few find because they will not wait on God to fill them.

Ask God to fill you today with that kind of Joy! Don't leave home without it. It's contagious!

Let's pray.

Father, I want to be your witness today. Release that kind of joy in my life and let me be your witness everywhere I go. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
